Daily Programs

First Day: Lima
You will arrive in Peru we will give you the welcome in the hall of Jorge Chavez International Airport. In the afternoon, we will start our city tour visiting the historical center of Lima (Lima Colonial), where we will see over fifty monuments and colonial buildings, highlighting the Paseo de la República , San Martin Square, Main Square, Government Palace, Archbishop's Palace, Cathedral, City Hall among other venues. We will than enter the Monastery of San Francisco, to visit its cloisters, library, choir, sacristy which will include the beautiful paintings of Zurbarán and Rivera painters, and other environments including the famous catacombs. We will continue our tour of Lima, by visiting the commercial, financial and residential areas of San Isidro and his Olivar Park of the XVII century, Miraflores with its spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean.

Second Day: Paracas
After Breakfast, we will depart by bus toward Nazca to visit the Ballasts Island, and then head over to the Hotel in Paracas.

Third Day: Paracas – Nazca - Arequipa
In the morning, after the Breakfast, we will take our bus to go to Nazca. In Nazca we will fly over the mysterious Nazca Lines. The Nazca lines are huge geometrical and animal figures etched in the desert floor in 800 BC. The lines may have astronomical significance, or they may be related to mountain worship.

Fourth Day: Arequipa
We will start the city tour in the afternoon by visiting the Santa Catalina convent. The convent is without a doubt the gem of Arequipa, finally opened to the public, after 400 years of seclusion.

Fifth Day: Arequipa – Canyon Colca
After Breakfast the bus will take us to the Colca Canyon by passing over the Chachani volcano. During the trip we will pass by Pampa Cañahuas where it is common to see Vicuas, the National Reserve. On the trip you will also see the natural lagoons, with its flora and fauna, as well as rocky shapes like haunted castles.

Sixth Day: Arequipa - Puno
Early in the morning, we will take a bus us to Puno into the altiplano. You will see in the altiplano snowcapped peaks and local farmers looking after their herds of llamas and alpacas.

Seventh Day: Uros Taquile
You will start by going to the port of Puno; where you will take a boat to the island of Uros. The residents of the Uros, fishermen and hunters, use the cattail (aquatic plant) that grows in the lake to build their islands, houses, cooking, and the aquatic plant provides food for their community. Currently there are about 50 artificial islands, and rafts are the only means of transportation. The next trip will be to the island of Taquile; which is located in the greater Lake area. Taquile is famous for its craft production and its beautiful textiles (declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity). The Taquile community still practices the principles of the Inca moral as " Ama Sua " (non-stealing ) " Ama Quella " ( do not be lazy ) and " Ama Lulla " (do not lie) . The current population of villagers in Taquile is about 2000. While visiting the tourist area of Uros and Taquile you will visit the temples, tombs, terraces of the pre Inca period (Pucara), landscapes, traditional cultivation techniques, and be able to view many of the ancestral customs of Uros and Taquile.

Eighth Day: Sillustani Tombs – Juliaca – Cusco
Morning we will visit to Sillustani Tombs, and in the afternoon we will depart to the bus toward Cusco. Arrival and transfer to the Hotel.

Nineth Day: Cusco
We will rest today, and have a chance to see the city and its’ magical places or visit the cathedral or the other churches in the historical part of Cusco. Also you can try the great Andean food like alpaca meat or try the guinea pig Accommodation in Cusco.

Tenth Day: Inca Trail Machupicchu
Early morning we will start our trek, escorted by native Quechua porters along the Vilcanota River, with magnificent views of Nevado Veronica: Campsite.

Meals: Snack, Lunch and Dinner
Eleventh Day: Climbing to Llulluchapampa
After an early wake up we will be at the Gate of the Sun, where will see our first view of Machupicchu from high above the City. Finally after we arrive in the mysterious "Lost City", our tour will head over to have a lunch buffet at the Sanctuary Lodge Machupicchu. In the afternoon, we will return by train to Cusco, and transfer to the Hotel.

Twelfth Day: CUSCO - LIMA
After the Breakfast we will go to the airport in Lima. Then in the afternoon we will go to the airport for our international flight back home.
